When/How Do You Actually Find Time to Shoot?

i’m new to photography and i keep hearing that the best way to improve is just to go out and shoot. i get that, but i’m struggling with actually doing it.

my schedule is packed most days, and by the time i have free time, i either don’t have the energy or it’s already too late to go out and shoot. weekends aren’t always reliable either. my cameras are just sitting, and it feels like a waste.

for those of you who are also busy: how do you make it work? do you have a routine, or do you just shoot whenever you can? do you plan shoots in advance, or keep it more spontaneous? do you count small things (like walks, shooting at home, etc.) as “practice,” or do you wait until you can properly go out?
