Balayage “Be brutally honest pls 😭”

| Paid a lot for balayage—does this look too warm/light for my skin tone? Need honest advice”bb I got balayage done recently (, which is expensive for me). I specifically asked for a soft chocolate/mocha brown, low contrast, natural look. I also told my stylist I didn’t want anything too light or golden. He said bleach wasn’t needed, but I insisted on minimal bleach so the color would show. Now my hair looks like this in different lighting (attached pics). In some lighting it looks okay, but in others it looks too warm/orangey and slightly too light for my skin tone. My concerns: - Does this look too brassy/warm? - Does it suit my skin tone or wash me out? - Is this normal balayage or was toning not done properly? - Should I get a toner to make it more chocolate/neutral brown? - Will it fade into something worse or just stay like this? I want honest opinions before I go back to the salon. I don’t want to make it too dark either and lose the balayage effect. Thanks! My skin shades: Nc 43.5 , NARS Syracuse [link] [comments] |
